If you think that a Sphynx cat breed is a low-maintenance cat, then you're wrong!
It doesn't matter if your cat is bold or isn't, it still needs care. Cat's skin will still secret oils to nourish the non-existent coat and frequent baths are essential (about once a week, depending on the cat. Some need to be bathed more frequently.)
You can bathe your cat where you want, it's up to you wether it's a kitchen sink you the bath. Maybe you cat will like to take shower with you? If you prefer to do this in the bath tub, then fill it with water to about as high as the cat's belly. You must be sure that water in the bath tube is not too cold or too hot. You can test the water with your elbow - dip it into the water to see if it is the right temperature or not. You can also use baby shampoo or all-natural soap for bath time, I usually use a speacial shampoo for animals.
Be sure to sheer your cat up during the procedure because it might be quite scary for him. Don't forget to dry them off thoroughly after the bath by wrapping them in a towel and reward them with a treat. It's easier to teach you cat at an early age, 4-5 weeks for instance.
If you don't have such an opportunity, then you have to be patient - get ready to teach your cat, to make it more useful to water.
